The Risk and Reward of Moving Your IT Support Contract

Any company putting their IT systems in the hands of someone new is obviously nervous about the consequences. It’s when the supplier has to put their money where their mouth is. And the truth is that there are a lot IT suppliers that claim to be able to deliver but simply don’t have the right attitude, experience or resources to back it up.

The Local Shopping Reit – a retail real estate specialist – recently chose Technology Management to refresh their IT infrastructure. Despite Technology Management’s Microsoft Gold Partner status (and the hoops we have to jump through to achieve that status each year) The Local Shopping Reit remained uncertain about what disruption and damage might be done to their business during the much-needed upgrade.

All fears faded quickly for The Local Shopping Reit as Vickie Whitehouse, their Finance Director, writes:

From the quotation stage to the go live last week my fears were totally ungrounded. Jon Archer listed to our requirements and prepared a quote to fit these as well as providing additional advice aimed to suit the needs of our business.

Khushy Bhogal was on site for a week and dealt with the whole installation in an extremely professional and competent manner. His never ending enthusiasm and desire to make best practice IT solutions fit our specific business needs was refreshing; particularly when compared to our recent IT experiences. I was also pleased with the support  the team back in Wolverhampton appeared to be giving Khushy.

From our experiences so far we are delighted with our decision to move our entire IT support contract to yourselves and to allow you to perform the refresh programme. We very much look forward to working with your team in the future.

We really enjoy doing what we do, but it’s extra special when customers write to us to tell us how much they’ve enjoyed working with us. Thanks, Vickie.
