Pegasus Software shortlisted in FDs’ Excellence Awards

Largest survey of its kind recognises Pegasus Software in Financial Software Provider: SME and large firm categories

Pegasus Software, a leading supplier of accounting, business and payroll software, today announced that it has been shortlisted in two categories in the 2013 FDs’ Excellence Awards in association with ICAEW. Based on the largest survey of its kind for UK organisations, the initiative was developed to recognise excellence among UK finance directors as well as the key service providers that support UK finance. The awards are supported by the CBI, Real Business and the London Evening Standard.

Following feedback from 1380 CFOs, FDs and senior financial decision-makers from British businesses about their auditors, banks, financial software providers and recruitment agencies, Pegasus was selected as a finalist alongside a number of its peers in the Financial Software Provider: SME and large firms categories.

“To be recognised in these categories is a huge achievement,” comments Stuart Anderson, director, sales & marketing, Pegasus Software. “We pride ourselves on providing software which helps finance departments to function more efficiently and proactively, and these finalist places are testament to our commitment to exceeding our customers’ expectations through continued innovation in the development of our Opera 3 software.”

The winners of the Awards by FDs will be announced on 9 May 2013 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. The event is hosted by ICAEW chief executive Michael Izza and the CBI’s director-general, John Cridland.
