Planning for this year’s software upgrades is now well underway with the promise of software being delivered to Technology Management early February. Our plan is to start testing as soon as it arrives to enable us to commence the upgrade programme from Monday 10th February 2014.
The statutory changes required for 2014 are outlined below:
· End of Year (EOY) Returns
· Technical changes for Auto Enrolment
· Real Time Information
· Full Payment Submission (FPS)
· Employer Payment Summary (EPS)
· Other Statutory Changes
· Document Management
There will also be a number of minor enhancements introduced into the new versions including support on Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Server 2012.
We would be grateful if you could fax/email back the form which has been emailed out showing the upgrade option you would like to take this year. Should you decide to do the upgrade yourself and wish for the software to be sent to you, we ask that you also send back the acceptance of liability form duly signed. When the upgrades arrive we will then be able to arrange appointments or despatch the software to you without delay.
Please do not forget to order your End of Year Stationery from the Inland Revenue Stationery Department. The order forms can be found on the Employers area of their website at http://search2.hmrc.gov.uk/kb5/hmrc/forms/home.page. Please ensure you order your HMRC stationery in plenty of time, as unfortunately Technology Management does not carry stocks of these forms.
