Office 2010 & SharePoint 2010

Technology Management are pleased to announce they have been invited to join the Technology Preview for Office and SharePoint 2010..This allows us to get to grips with the new software and give feedback to Microsoft before the software goes into general Beta testing.

Where Office 2007 made radically improvements to the user interface with the introduction of the ribbon, we are seeing yet more features being added to this latest release. I have been really impressed with some of the new additions, and the ability to use it over the web as part of the licence. A few of us made the jump to the product on Tuesday when the tech preview was released and we will give regular updates via the blog and events. And then there is SharePoint 2010….Microsoft’s fastest growing product gets a major overhaul, and the Office Ribbon is now there in the bowser to make users experience of SharePoint more intuitive. As soon as we get back to the UK we will be installing this on the servers back at Technology Management and get creative with some of the new features we have seen demoed this week at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans

If you want to see and hear about some of the new features take a look at this video….
