Helix Rules Technology Management in for 180k IT Project

Helix, the famous West Midlands business best known for making school equipment such as their shatter resistant rulers, has signed a £180,000 deal with Wolverhampton IT solution provider Technology Management.

The contract includes implementing state-of-the-art Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to run the company’s finances and operations, with the project encompassing an overhaul of their technical infrastructure.

Mike Pell, Group Financial Director for Helix commented, “The current bespoke system was becoming increasingly restrictive and expensive to maintain. Having reviewed many ERP systems, we are confident the performance of Microsoft Dynamics NAV combined with the support from Technology Management will assist Helix into its next stage of development, and provide a powerful, stable platform to expand its Global operations whilst maintaining ease of use for both management and staff” .

Sarah Heller, Technology Management’s sales and marketing director adds: “We’re delighted to be working with such a well loved and successful brand as Helix. The team at Technology Management are looking forward to supporting Helix in their vision to implement an integrated business system that will secure their competiveness on a global stage”.

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV system includes mobile barcode scanners in the warehouse to manage stock movements and EDI (electronic data interchange) technology to trade and with customers and suppliers electronically.
