Dynamics NAV compatible with Windows 7 – Official

The following announcement was posted on the Microsoft partner site recently – nice to see Dynamics keeping up with the rest of Microsoft. In fact we have been running it on Windows 7 and Windows Server R2 for months with no problems right back through to V4 so its not a major breakthrough. Nice to have it official though. The commerce gateway could be an issue but we don’t know anyone using business notification anyway – you have to run a SQL 2005 server because its not compatible with SQL 2008 so it doesn’t look like it have a long term future anyway.

  1. I am new at Windows. I tried Server 2008. But the network configuration settings were a bit okward. I do not find most of the settings. Please provide information over this. Provide information about SSL certification specifically.
