Ring in the New Year with Integrated Marketing Management Tools with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015

2015 may be brand spanking new, but your team can hit the ground running with sophisticated, fully developed marketing tools to handle whatever the New Year brings. Even if you’re coming out of 2014 struggling with disparate, manual processes, lagging KPI reports or off-target revenues, a new year can bring measurable marketing results when using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015.

As we enter the midway point of the second decade of the 21st century, you can usher in your department’sability to plan, execute, and measure campaigns easily, from start to finish, at a granular level, with routine tasks automated to free up your employees’ time for other vital campaign work.

How, exactly, will 2015 look different for you thanks to the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM?

  1. Marketing Resource Management of projects, job management with external vendors and internal stakeholders; assets and media – planning, buying and performance across publishing, broadcasting, billboards and more.
  2. Budgeting & Performance with numerous reports for a full picture.
  3. Marketing Execution: minimise risk, control costs, track performance and ROI.
  4. Multi-channel Campaigns: automate activities across channels; track spending across all channels, and track budgeted and spent amounts.
  5. Lead Management and Scoring: Lead performance by tracking lead generation across time, lead priority and lead status.
  6. Sales and marketing Collaboration: Ensure that both departments share the same view of customers and prospects, via their own dashboard lenses.
  7. Social Media Marketing including sentiment analysis and cross-platform consistency.
  8. Marketing Analytics: for true visibility into campaign ROI.

All of this from one convenient place – your team members’ dashboards in CRM.

So when your CMO asks you to find a better way to drive campaign conversion, you’ll have the right technology to make that happen. (And your CMO will see how just much value there is in the marketing department!) Now you can’t wait to get back to the marketing team after the holidays, right?

What is your 2015 shaping up to be?

New application feature for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 – Totals and Invoice Discount Amounts displayed on Sales and Purchase Documents

A new welcome addition has been linked to Sales and Purchase documents within Dynamics NAV 2015 that displays the cumulative Total of the document and associated Discount. This applies to Quotations, Orders, Blanket Orders, Invoices, Credit Memos and Return Orders for both Receivables and Payables.

It is now possible to see at a glance the Totals for any such document and replaces the need to come out of the active page and refer back to the Statistics screen. When posting a Purchase Invoice it will be easy to see immediately any discrepancy in the VAT Amount.

The fields are placed on the document page below the Lines section.

The functionality also extends to the equivalent Posted documents as seen here in an example of a Posted Purchase Invoice.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Technology Management selected to improve customer responsiveness and drive growth by international manufacturer

JURA Impressa Z9 coffee machine sa International coffee machine manufacturer, JURA, selects Technology Management & Microsoft Dynamics NAV to support UK operations and drive continued growth.

JURA manufactures, distributes and services fully automatic coffee machines for home and commercial use. In the continually growing market of speciality coffee types such as ristretto, espresso, cappuccino and macchiato, JURA provides high quality, bean to cup coffee machines that make coffee suited exactly to a customer’s personal preference.

JURA was convinced that Microsoft Dynamics NAV was the right product for the business as it was already in use at its Swiss Head Office and throughout many of its worldwide operations but needed to find a local partner to implement the solution in the UK. Dynamics NAV will be used for order processing, finance, distribution and service management. Service management will include the logging of customer support calls, scheduling routine service visits and managing consumables such as filters and cleaning products.

Local Needs, Local Support

To support the specific needs of the UK, Dynamics NAV will be integrated with JURA’s own eCommerce site as well as Amazon to enable customer orders from both web trading platforms to be automatically passed straight into Dynamics NAV. Additional integration with UPS’s IT systems will enable delivery progress to be tracked. Finally, the implementation will also include the automatic receipt and processing of orders via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) from John Lewis and Costco.

“This investment in a new business software solution is fundamental to supporting our expected growth and continued drive for efficiency improvements. Reporting will be so much easier and it will automatically aligned to the needs of Head Office without the need for manual intervention. The integration with other systems streamlines order management to improve accuracy and our customer responsiveness. Even the simplest of tasks will be quicker and easier – in our existing ERP solution just searching for the right information could sometimes be painful and time consuming,” says Anton Dreyer, IT Manager for JURA Products Limited.

“We undertook a very thorough process of evaluating local partners before selecting Technology Management. Right from the start, it was clear they wanted to work with us to make our project our success and support us for the long-term. They took the time to understand our business and our goals – and the technical expertise and business experience of their people shone through,” Anton continues.

James Crowter, Managing Director, Technology Management concludes,”We are delighted to be working with such a premium brand as JURA. This win bears witness to our strong position in implementing Microsoft business software solutions in the Manufacturing & Distribution sector. We have grown our staff numbers by over 20% this year and we still have positions left to fill”.
